Licentiate membership is available to you if you already have teaching qualifications from another relevant society or if, as an Associate Teacher of the PMA you met the requirements to become a Licentiate (see the flowchart). As a Licentiate Teacher you would be classed a Fully Qualified Dance Teacher of the PMA and will receive a Teaching Certificate to validate this.
You have full access to our Student Exam System from the time of joining the PMA.
As a Licentiate Teacher of the PMA you must be at least 18 years old and you may use the initials L.PMA after your name. After 5 years you can apply to become a Fellow of the PMA.
