These should consist of a warm-up, dance and a curtsey/bow. More emphasis is placed on presentation. Senior Bronze level and above are required to perform 2 contrasting dances.
Students will receive a certificate and medal if successful.
The standards of the medals specified are in line with the grades listed on the Graded Exams page (based on age), for example Junior Silver Medal would be approximately the same standard as Grade 4.
Levels, minimum ages and entry fees are as follows (students can join at any level and do not need to have completed previous medals as long as they are up to the required standard):
- Introductory Medal: Age 3+ Cost: £8
- Preparatory Medal: Age 4+ Cost: £8
- Infant Bronze Medal: Age 5+ Cost: £10
- Infant Silver Medal: Age 6+ Cost: £10
- Infant Gold Medal: Age 7+ Cost: £10
- Junior Bronze Medal: Age 8+ Cost: £12
- Junior Silver Medal: Age 9+ Cost: £12
